From 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. join the Lansing community in the Smart Commute challenge. Each month Smart Commute ‘09 and Community Partners in Health host a community walking tour. This month, the walking tour is coming to Old Town! To celebrate Old Town’s rich history and note some of the wonderfully historic old buildings, the Old Town Commercial Association (OTCA) held a historic walking tour of our beautiful, vibrant, and creative district on Sunday, June 14, 2009.Hosted by Robert Morris of City Visions, walking tour participants were treated to the history of the neighborhood and its unique architecture with some insider stories thrown in as well. Don’t miss your chance to learn how Lansing came to be while improving your health and the environment when the OTCA partners with Smart Commute for our second Historic Walking Tour.
