Compassionate Feast-Thank You!

Compassionate Feast 2007, held on November 19, helped to feed more than 120 families with more than $6,500 in food. Each family had every ingredient they would need to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in their own home. Shopping began bright and early at 8 a.m. at West Saginaw Meijer where food was loaded onto a Top Flight Moving & Storage truck and transported to Spiral Video Dance Bar. Volunteers scurried to unload and pack boxes to be picked up or delivered to the families.
The OTCA would like to thank all those who supported, donated or volunteered their time to help make Compassionate Feast a huge success. A special thanks goes out to West Saginaw Meijer, Olympic Broil, the North Cedar Street Biggby Coffee, Great Harvest Bread Company Downtown, Arialink and Top Flight Moving & Storage. Cooley students, Adam Frankel and Randy Coleman are also applauded for their success with “Operation Turkey,” which raised more than $1,700 to cover the cost of the turkeys.
