After announcing Old Town as the winner of the Ikea Main Street Makeover, the 10 recipient businesses have been busy preparing for the transformations. In November, the project manager and Mats, the creative director, both visited Old Town to meet the business owners.
Then, on November 27, Mats introduced each business owner to the designer that will develop the design for their business. The business owners are traveling to the Canton Ikea on November 30 to finalize plans with the designers for the makeovers, scheduled to start January 7, 2008.
