The Taste & Tour of Old Town, a progressive food sampler and loft tour event, will occur on Sunday, April 6 from 12-3p.m. in conjunction with the First Sunday Gallery Walk.  This is an excellent opportunity to view the trendy living options that are available in Old Town as well as taste delicious samples from surrounding Old Town businesses.

Participating restaurants include Rendezvous on the Grand, Vernadine’s Soul Food, Grand Café/Sir Pizza, Pablo’s Panaderia, Mama Bear’s Café, Poppa Leo’s Pizza, Golden Harvest and Olympic Broil.  October Moon will also be serving samples of three different kinds of pestos that are currently sold in their store.  Food items range from tacos to biscuits and gravy to pizza to French cheese puffs.  This event allows participants to taste a variety of cuisines, so come hungry!

Loft tours offer a chance for participants to view the stylish lofts that are normally not open to the public.  The lofts are located above various businesses on Grand River and Turner Street. Participants should check in at the Old Town Commercial Association office to receive a map of the restaurant and loft locations.
The Taste & Tour provides a chance to introduce family and friends who are unfamiliar with the Old Town district to the thriving businesses, hip living alternatives and delicious restaurants that contribute to Old Town’s growth and development.

Tickets for this event are $13 in advance or $15 the day of the event.  Tickets include samples of food at nine locations and tours of many different lofts.  If you are interested in the loft tours only, tickets are $5.
