Explore Old Town and the Greater Lansing area during Be A Tourist in Your Own Town on Saturday, May 31 from 10a.m.-5p.m. Residents and tourists alike can purchase a passport to explore more than 50 attractions in the Greater Lansing area for just $1.
Be sure to stop in Old Town during Be A Tourist for the 4th annual Old Town Art Market! The sidewalks of Old Town will once again be filled with artists from 10a.m.-5p.m. Check out artwork in many mediums from student and professional artists. Many Old Town businesses, such as Friedland Industries, Cozy Koi Bed & Breakfast, Turner-Dodge House and Preuss Pets, are also offering special activities for the Be A Tourist event.
After the daytime events conclude, stay out and enjoy Greater Lansing Alive After Five specials. Lansing area’s favorite entertainment venues, bars and restaurants, including Old Town’s Unicorn Tavern, Mama Bear’s Cafe, Vernadine’s Soul Food, Spiral Video Dance Bar, Esquire Club, Grand Cafe Sir Pizza and Pablo’s Panaderia, will be offering specials during the evening.
