Chalk of the Town Returns to Old Town on July 18

Chalk of the Town is back on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Historic Old Town Lansing!

This free, family-friendly event invites the community to experience art in action as local artists transform the sidewalks into a colorful, open-air gallery. Watch stunning chalk masterpieces come to life along Turner Street and César E. Chávez Avenue throughout the day.

While you’re here, explore Old Town’s local boutiques, shops, and restaurants, and enjoy a vibrant summer day in the district. Guests can also cheer on their favorite artists as judges select winning designs.
