Volunteer of the Month: Nick LaPratt

I've only been in Lansing for about 9 months, but I try to attend any volunteer event that I can!  I was a Lansing native about 20 years ago and have recently come home!  I really enjoy doing clean-up around Old Town and Downtown with the OTCA and on my own.
Being a new guy in the Lansing area, I've been pursuing opportunities to devote time to our homeless communities, and nature centers.  I also enjoy fundraising for nonprofits and assisting businesses to do so.
I enjoy all MSU sports. Go State!  I love traveling, hiking, hunting, fly fishing, and sailing...and eating good food. 

I chose to volunteer with OTCA because I believe helping, being involved, and participating in events within our city builds community!
