Spotlight on Volunteer of the Month
The Old Town Commercial Association is proud to recognize Jamie Shriner as our Volunteer of the Month for June!
Jamie’s dedication to Old Town extends far beyond volunteering at events. As a longtime resident and board member, Jamie has been a steady presence in the district for years, helping shape the vibrant community we know today. Her passion for Old Town and commitment to its success is reflected in everything she does.
Jamie is Chair of the Design Committee and the Organizational Committee, contributing time, ideas, and leadership to projects and events that strengthen our district. she also plays an important role in many of Old Town’s signature events, including Lumberjack Weekend and Krampusnacht, helping ensure each event is a success.
Beyond committee work, Jamie is always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. From volunteering at the OTCA booth during Lansing Pride to participating in spring cleanups and flower planting, Jamie consistently gives back to the community. She also dedicates time each week to watering the flowers in Turner Mini Park, helping keep Old Town beautiful and welcoming for all.
